The Bookkeeper is responsible for configuring, overseeing, and maintaining our financial data record keeping, ensuring that our ledgers are kept organized, accurate, compliant, and of high quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant field; or equivalent experience. CPA certification can be a bonus but is not required.
  • Previous accounting and/or bookkeeping experience, especially in a research-and-development focused technology startup environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing high-quality accounting standards, including chart of accounts, policies, and procedures.
  • Expertise in SFAS regulations, accounting legal/tax compliance/optimization, and standard accounting practices and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to approach important projects reliably and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining high-quality overall accounting system, including chart of accounts and individual financial ledgers.

Senior Process Engineer/Scientist

The Senior Process Engineer/Scientist is responsible for leading the development and analysis of new and existing fabrication processes for thin film materials and solar cells.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Material Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or another applicable field. Master’s degree or Ph.D. is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on, practical experience with process and equipment development for CuInGaSe2 (CIGS) thin film semiconductor materials and devices.
  • Experience with semiconductor-related processes and equipment.
  • Thorough understanding of device physics and thin film CIGS device and materials characterization techniques.
  • Expertise in various deposition processes for thin film materials including CIGS.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with the ability to approach challenging projects innovatively and collaboratively.
  • Team player with effective collaboration, communication, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective data-driven experiments to deliver upon milestones such as high cell efficiency and high module performance.

The Process Engineer is responsible for contributing to the overall development and engineering of processes and equipment for the manufacturing of our next generation CIGS thin film solar photovoltaic modules.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Material Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or another applicable field. Master’s degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Experience with semiconductor-related processes and equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with process and equipment engineering/development for the manufacturing of CuInGaSe2 (CIGS) thin film photovoltaic modules.
  • Experience working with material and device characterization techniques for thin film materials and devices (e.g. SEM, XRD, I-V measurements, and more).
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to approach challenging projects innovatively and collaboratively.

  • Hands-on experience with thin film deposition processes and materials/device characterization tools.
