Our company has made significant and exciting progress towards our goal of achieving industry high performance with industry low cost. 

Solar PV is the future. As the world transitions away from traditional energy sources, the role solar plays in electricity generation will continue to grow rapidly. Jehad Abushama, Ph.D., Founder and CEO

Dr. Jehad Abushama is an expert in the field of solar technology with over 25 years of experience in thin film photovoltaics (PV), and more than 60 publications and patents. While at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Colorado, USA, Dr. Abushama pioneered several thin film solar cells with certified world record conversion efficiencies. In 2005, he moved to the private sector in solar PV, where he held different positions including Senior Scientist, Manager of Research, Member of Technical Staff and Manager of R&D. Prior to that, Dr. Abushama was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) and NREL, focusing on double-junction tandem solar cells as part of the US Department of Energy (DOE) high performance program. In 2003, he earned his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Colorado School of Mines (with thesis work completed at NREL), focusing on high efficiency thin film solar cells. Dr. Abushama has a track record of advancing research and development to new heights at extremely fast rates, at times more than doubling conversion efficiency in a matter of months. 

With hands on and management experience in a multitude of start-up solar companies throughout his career and extensive expertise on and passion for the subject matter, Dr. Abushama comprehensively understands what it takes for solar technology to grow globally.
